Michael Ende would be proud of me :) It really gets more and more difficult now... many composers are unable to find and many of their infos are still incomplete. Unfortunately many of their tunes are lost this way on some old hard drive. What do you get this time? About 800 chooonz by Atarians which is about 50 hours of listening pleasure... ok sometimes not :) In the Bonus folder you will find lotsa stuff this time... some archives from other guys, my personal Future Composer archive (FC3/FC4) and the latest ASMA aswell as the latest ST SOUND archive now maintained by ALDN. As a special gift there are some german articles from the last paper magazine ST COMPUTER about Fading Twilight, YM Rockerz and ST Chipmusic. As a special feature I will give you my faves of this excerpt: Sebab - "Battlesphere credits music" Wes Powell - "Drifting into outer space" Radium - "Broken pieces" Raster - "Cirrus minor" Sinis - "Hydrotheme" VLX - "Alien nation" If you find bugs, wrong informations, damaged files or anything else then please contact me asap and I will try to fix them. Please visit our FT-Forum at: http://www.atari-forum.com aswell as these FT-distrosites: http://tscc.atari.org/fadtwilg.html http://fading-twilight.atari.org ftp://llama.serverbox.org/pub/tSCc/ and drop us a line what you think about this cd and this project in general. So I finally converted all the SMITH tunes to WAV and then MP3 Thursday, the 21st of march 2002 -received a couple of old unreleased mods from OUTZIDER/IMAGINA^DARKZONE... Thanx to OUTZIDER and KINGPIN/DARKZONE for that! Thurday, the 11th of april 2002 -added Winamp 2.79 to Windows player section -Curt Cool/Depth sent me a new bunch of requested tunes from DELOS, BART OF NOISE, FRAZER and CALS'N. THANX AGAIN! Sunday, the 28th of april 2002 -mOd/Checkpoint told me some things about ripping with Steem... many hours were lost with unsuccessfull tries... but finally I got the Reset Module from the NPG Megademo... -mOd/Checkpoint sent me another tune from GARY/TNB Saturday, the 4th of may 2002 -may exams coming closer... grmbl... -today I received a mail from Simon/Trideja! Many Thanx for that nice one! Also got a link to his new website and leeched about 15 MB "new" Trideja-stuff. -Dumbo/Big Noz, author of Groumpf Tracker wrote me today and sent me an URL to a downloadpage for his modules (including RADICAL RACE again... the mods unfortunatly got lost at my last HD Crash... Wednesday, the 8th of may 2002 -ripped and completed some demo-soundtracks: o one tune from Radium, ripped from ISD 19 (tricky noisepackershit!). o The final missing tune from My dog is enjoying Fuzion o sorted some tunes ripped by Aldn (Delirious 3, Kidney Bean, Fuzion 51) o discovered that the unknown VEX-introtune was used in the cracktro for TREX WARRIOR -copied the updated Linux-player stuff which was brought to me by Scy/tSCc -today I received an e-mail from ST-Computer. They asked me to sent them my Fading Twilight CD's because they wanna do an article about it :) Greatness! -removed XTD from the archive... Grey said to me he was never really a part of the atari scene and only for a short time in Mystic Bytes... All the tunes they used were NOT exclusively done for them.. they were just old ones given to them... I thought very long about it and came to the conclusion to remove his folder here and move the mods used in Atari demos into DEMOS :) Tuesday, the 2nd of july 2002 -I got out of school today... everything's over now... well have to find a new job now... -Aldn ripped the MMM EXPERIENCE tunes for me and I fixed one of the module problem that the original composer described in the textfile... the second problem could not be heard by me, sorry... it sounded ok to me. -So I am stepping forward to finish this excerpt of Fading Twilight. There is still much to do... no ascii's here yet... no new cover here yet... some modules are still missing... -I put many Bonus stuff on here this time... including the latest update on the YM ARCHIVE, which is now maintained by ALDN. -worked a lot on this text today -removed Cry/The Experience from the archive, because he is an Acorn only dude Sunday, the 14th of july 2002 -received the requested ascii-logo from Asphyx/Logofactory^Coolphat Thursday, the 18th of july 2002 -ripped a tune from Latyl/Arkham from one of their PC demos -gathered some more information about some tunes from Kanewood/Arkham Saturday, the 20th of july 2002 -I discovered that most of the ULTIMOD-CDs are downloadable from the AMP Website... so I leeched: Skidz, Roz, Tommy, Teque, Techno, Killer, Latyl and Bart of Noise tunes!!! A possible release of Excerpt 5 is getting closer and closer! Thursday, the 1st of august 2002 -Today I received the missing MINDGATE music from Seabrush and guess what? I already had it! ... Damn and therefore I waited for so long :) Naah Ok... I am only waiting for RASTER and EROS to send stuff right now... There could be a possible release next week. -Decided to start on the final touches ... I am exactly at 650 MB now... maybe there are tunes to come but if they don't hit my e-mail account next week I will put them on the forthcoming update CD. Monday, the 5th of august 2002 -finished the game-music corner for this excerpt. -leeched some more game-musics and infos from various websites -found a huge load of WES POWELL MP3's... too much to put on this CD at all... I decided to put them on the update-CD... so the update-CD is also nearly finished now. -hum...
