xmms - X multimedia system

Xmms is a multimedia (MP3s, CDs, Modules) player for the X Window System
with an interface similar to Winamp's. Xmms supports playlists and
streaming content and has a configurable interface.

To play modules (.mod, .xm), you need to have the libmikmod plugin.
RedHat ships xmms with libmikmod included, but I don't know about the other
distributions.
