README.TXT for smARTWORX.›››smARTWORX contains 3 files:›EDIT.COM - layout editor;›XFER.COM - XL/XE <-> PC transfer;›PRINT.COM - hardcopy pgm, not ready!››All the source files are included.›smARTWORX was written in:›SYNAPSE ASSEMBLER XL/1. I›'renumbered' this assembler so it›could be placed in EPROM on the›ATARI basic adress space (8kb).››I expect that the original disk-file›version of SYNAPSE assembler also›will compile the source, however.››Compiling the source was done as›follows:›1. load the first source file:› for the editor 'PRG0.SRC'›2. set LOM to $5300›3. give the ASM command›4. wait approx. 15 minutes for it› to finish (in case of EDIT.COM)›5. BSAve the file, adress space is› (for all 3 com files)› $1D00 to VAL * -1›6. For DOS 2.0 or 2.5 to run the› resulting file after loading it,› you have to manually add 6 bytes› at the end of the files:› (dec) 224,2,225,2,lsb,msb start› where start is VAL START in the› assembler (after compiling)› Caution: Do not change the file› lenght info in the first 6 bytes› of the COM file!!›7. That's it!›››All the source files are included›with the package (dutch explanation›however), also a brief manual is›included. The manual was written in›ATARI WRITER (tm)››ENJOY!››Rudolf Cornelissen (12-1998)›Email: R.Cornelissen@SynSpec.NL›
