To get the girl out of the statue, you will need something you will find 
in Dracula's Castle. It's in the silver coffer. The broom is only for 
sight-seeing and can't be used for anything.

To kill the werewolf, use the silver bullet with the gun.

To get the key from the Goblin, say "IJNID" to him.

The cave is a red herring, don't worry about it or the rock slide.

To read the stump, you have to pour acid on it to clear it off. Then, knock 
the stump and go down into it. Catch the flies, read the book, and pick the 
lock (wear the cloak to find it), and go into the next room to the north. 
Look there for the crystal ball. To get out, take the book with you.

To get anything from the cat, give it mice...in the hut to get the broom 
and acid for later in the game.
